You deserve more than just awesome coffee
Making really, really good coffee is only half our mission. We exist to shake things up in the coffee industry. To give power back to the people. Both the coffee drinkers and the coffee producers.
Coffee That Tastes Good And Does Good
A lot of companies say they’re “good”. We’ve built our business to show it:
– 100% transparent process
– Sustainable production practices
– Specialty-grade coffee (scores of 85-87)
We talk the talk. And walk the walk.
So you can feel good about great coffee, for real.
“There are a lot of companies out there making top-notch, specialty-grade coffee. But La Dalia is one of the few where I feel confident my money is actually going back into the local community in Nicaragua. I truly do feel good about drinking great coffee.”
The Farm
We’re farmers first. (It runs in the family.) We grow our beans using sustainable practices to protect our land and local community. Each bean is handpicked, then carefully processed by hand to bring out it’s unique flavor profile.

The Roasting House
Each bean that gets the stamp of approval goes directly to our Roasting House in California. Then, it’s micro-roasted on order for maximum freshness. We like to think our beans get to be the best beans they can be.
Your Doorstep
We don’t just sell the coffee we grow. We taste it before it even gets to your door. And we love experimenting with new flavor profiles. Our Master Taster might have the best job on the planet 🙂

Why We Do What We Do
Our mission isn’t for vanity metrics–like saying we do good so more people buy our coffee. It’s deeply rooted in family legacy. A legacy of hard work and heartbreaking loss.

We actually lost the farm years ago, because our family couldn’t make money from the coffee we grew. We watched in mute frustration as the coffee we grew and sold to middlemen for just a few dollars per pound, went on to sell for seven, or eight times that to the Big Guys.
So when we had the chance to buy back the farm and take back control of our community’s future…
We did.
